Transitioning to fall clothing can be tricky- especially when the weather can't seem to make up it's mind when it comes to temperature. In Michigan, we've been flip-flopping around lately. Mornings will be brisk and cool, sometimes in the low 50s, and before noon even rolls around we'll be climbing our way back up into the mid 70s.

Mountain Air

My time in the mountains is sadly over, but I don't think I could ever forget a trip like this. Hiking through the Smokies is something I've been so looking forward to, and getting to experience Grotto Falls was a dream (p.s.- it's the only waterfall in the Smoky Mountains you can actually walk behind)! I honestly don't know when I'll stop posting pictures from this hike... Whoops! 

Fall Transition

Here's a typical outfit I'll wear to class while transition into fall. Right now my campus is still really hot, but the mornings and certain lecture halls tend to be really chilly. To combat this, I'll pair a simple button down with some breezy linen shorts and just call it a morning.

Sorry about all of the poses being basically the same in this post and in the last one! This is an outfit that I've become partial to the last two weeks as spring has finally begun to break through the long winter! I find myself being comfortable walking around on campus most days in a vest, long sleeve/hoodie, jeans, and boots. On this day, the snow was just beginning to melt so there were quite a few puddles and my rain boots were a dire necessity. I can't wait until it is just a tad bit warmer so that I can start shoot warm-weather looks for all of you!
